Tangle Connect
A community app for residential societies, from pitch to live on the App Store and Google Play. Then sold.
- Live on App Store & Play Store
- DPIIT-recognised startup
- Raised ₹5 lakh
- 3rd out of 250+ teams

The problem
People in large gated societies live metres apart and still don't know each other. Groups, events and sports happen, but they are scattered across WhatsApp groups and notice boards.
Tangle Connect gives each society one verified space to meet neighbours, join groups, run tournaments and announce events.
What I built
- Resident appHub, Feed, Create, Explore and Profile tabs, with connect requests, groups, events and tournaments
- Verified residents onlyA GPS geofence check against the society's real boundary at signup, plus monthly ambassador audits
- Phone OTP sign-inReal SMS through India's DLT registration, so there are no passwords to forget
- Ambassador dashboardA separate web app for moderation, reports, audits and resident chat
- Push notificationsMessages, connect requests, joins and event reminders, with per-user preferences
How I built it
As a non-technical founder, I designed the product in Figma and built it with AI tools: Figma Make for the React front end, Claude Code for the implementation, Capacitor to ship native iOS and Android apps, and Supabase for the database, auth, storage and realtime.
The first launch targeted a single real society, Mahagun Moderne in Noida, with more than 1,000 residents across 19 towers.
Milestones
What I learned
Shipping a real product taught me to design for the whole system: store reviews, SMS regulations, notification edge cases, and the people who moderate a community. That is why I design like someone who has actually shipped.
